Neon spotted highway signs
And neverending concrete streets

controversial matters
remain unspeakable
remaining to rot
under gossips fatal glare
ButterflySomething falls away within

from a chrystaline chrysalis

For another contest on deviantart. The 8 planets, plus the sun. Extra points for incorporating a UFO somehow (can you spot it?)

FINISHED!

SDHKLHGLKHLTHGKLA. Nothing much to say about it. The textures are the most important part of the whole collection and is where the planets REALLY come through.

So yeah, wish me luck.

Considering the strip is a collection and collections require cohesiveness and similar elements, I'd say I did a good job with that and that there's quite enough variation there that the gowns are not anywhere near the same.

Plus, what you don't see were the constraints of the contest this was done for, which severely limited what you could do. Hell, I won the challenge/contest this was done for -shrugs- So considering the only things I really had to work with was "Round", and "Texture", and still won, I did pretty well I think.

Haha. I didn't actually place the UFO itself anywhere... But incorporated elements into the designs themselves in the form of the structured straps of metallic material for the bodices :)

:) I didn't want to do anything obvious, but something that complimented the designs themselves while still getting the bonus points for incorporating the UFO.
